SKILLING QUEENSLANDERS FOR WORK

  • Are you long term unemployed and unable to meet the financial demands of enrolling into the qualification required to gain employment in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability?

  • Are you ineligible for government assistance and are unable to meet the financial demands of enrolling into the qualification required to gain employment in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability?

  • Do you have problems with reading and writing that are causing issues with enrolling into the qualification required to gain employment in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or Disability

If you meet any of the above criteria you may be eligible to enroll in CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support, with HANMAC, under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work program, proudly funded and sponsored by the Queensland Government.

CLASSROOM BASED TRAINING 

Are you interested in working in the Aged, Home and Community or Disability sectors? Are you currently employed in the Aged, Home and Community or Disability sectors and need to get your qualification? 

If you answered yes to either of these questions, CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support is the qualification for you.

HANMAC will be holding the next orientation day, for classroom based training, for CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support on 4th April 2018. This day provides students with an opportunity to meet HANMAC's staff, find out about the qualification being offered, ask questions and complete the enrollment process.

EXTERNAL STUDY

Are you unable to commit to classroom based training due to work or other commitments? If yes, HANMAC offers the following qualifications via external study options:

  • CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support.
  • CHC32015 Certificate III in Community Services.
  • CHC42015 Certificate IV in Community Services.
  • CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
  • CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability. 

External study has minimal requirements for class time** with assessments being completed at home. For further information on external study options and commencement dates contact HANMAC.

* Training and working in the health and community services sectors (includes Aged Care, Home and Community Care and Disability) involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and other physically demanding activities. Please consider your ability to complete these tasks prior to applying.
** Students enrolled in external study are required to attend critical classes and complete the mandatory work placement element relevant to their chosen course.

HANMAC provides services both in the workplace and at our head office located at 601 Ross River Road, Kirwan. HANMACs training services are conducted in the workplace, through external study methods or through face to face training conducted at our Kirwan office.
