This qualification reflects the role of a variety of workers who use a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge to provide assistance to health professional staff for the care of clients. Health services assistance involves the worker in direct client contact under supervision.
HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance consists of 15 units of competency mad up of 7 core units and 8 elective units. This qualification includes a mandatory 120 hour work placement.

Elective units have been selected by HANMAC on the basis of consultation with industry. Elective units that are not included in the elective section of this page are available by negotiation. Elective units must meet the packaging rules within HLT33115 before being considered for inclusion.
