This qualification is suitable for people working in a Work Health and Safety (WHS) role who work to provide leadership and guidance to others and have some limited responsibility for the output of others.
BSB41415 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety consists of 10 units of competency made up of 5 core units and 5 elective units.
BSBWHS402 Assist with compliance with WHS laws
BSBWHS403 Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS consultation and participation processes
BSBWHS404 Contribute to WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control
BSBWHS405 Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS management systems
BSBWHS406 Assist with responding to incidents
Elective units have been selected by HANMAC on the basis of consultation with industry. Elective units that are not included in the elective section of this page are available by negotiation. Elective units must meet the packaging rules within BSB41415 before being considered for inclusion.

Six months. This course is competency based and can be completed in a shorter time frame depending on the students existing skills and knowledge and prior learning.
